ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,698,197, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to Starbucks Corp. (Seattle).
"Fluid dispenser" was invented by Joseph E. Gormley (Mercer Island, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus for dispensing a liquid can include a dispenser coupled to a container. The dispenser can be configured to move between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the dispenser can be configured to dispense the liquid. The container can be in an inverted position such that an opening of the container is facing downward."
The patent was filed on July 17, 2023, under Application No. 18/353,350.
