ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,663,089, issued on June 23, was assigned to Stant USA Corp. (Connersville, Ind.).
"Multi-way valve" was invented by George J. Mitri (Connersville, Ind.), Michael S. Brock (Connersville, Ind.), Chun Li (Suzhou, China) and Wenbo Zhao (Suzhou, China).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multi-way valve adapted to control a flow of fluid to different thermal fluid circuits includes a valve housing, a valve flow controller, and a scaling system. The valve flow controller is arranged in the valve housing to control flow through the valve housing. The scaling system is configured to seal between the valve housing and the valve flow controller."
