US Patent Issued to STANLEY BLACK & DECKER on June 16 for "Construction laser level" (Chinese, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,656,113, issued on June 16, was assigned to STANLEY BLACK & DECKER INC. (New Britain, Conn.).

"Construction laser level" was invented by Michael C. Schmittdiel (Baltimore), Jia Yong Jiang (Suzhou, China), Grady Jiqiu Ma (Suzhou, China) and Michael W. Bauer (Baltimore).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A laser level system including a laser level and a bracket. The laser level projects at least one laser line and is mounted on the bracket. An integral power source is disposed within an interior of the bracket. The power source powers the laser level and the laser level is rotatable relative to the bracket."
