US Patent Issued to Sony Interactive Entertainment on June 30 for "Frame rendering timing control" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,670,538, issued on June 30, was assigned to Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. (Tokyo).

"Frame rendering timing control" was invented by Sachiyo Aoki (Tokyo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is an information processing apparatus including a processor, the information processing apparatus drawing and buffering images frame by frame and outputting the buffered frame every predetermined timing, in which the processor performs a standby process of keeping a frame drawing process on standby until a specified timing, and starts and controls the performance of the frame drawing process after the standby process."
