US Patent Issued to Snap on July 7 for "Decentralized two-phase commit" (Washington Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,675,466, issued on July 7, was assigned to Snap Inc. (Santa Monica, Calif.).

"Decentralized two-phase commit" was invented by Ovais Ahmad Khan (Woodinville, Wash.), David Andrew Killian (Seattle), James Daniel Baird (Seattle), Tittu Jose (Sammamish, Wash.) and Arunachalam Thirupathi (Redmond, Wash.).
