US Patent Issued to SMC on Sept. 15 for "Fulcrum opening/closing type air" (Japanese Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,734,681, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to SMC Corp. (Tokyo).

"Fulcrum opening/closing type air" was invented by Ryosuke Okushima (Moriya, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A fulcrum opening/closing type air chuck includes porous bodies that are attached to a body and come into contact with fingers, and purge air passes through the porous bodies and is discharged to the outside."

The patent was filed on Oct. 24, 2022, under Application No. 18/049,062.
