ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,571, issued on July 14, was assigned to Skydio Inc. (San Mateo, Calif.).

"Unmanned aerial vehicles including removable gimbal modules" was invented by Alexander David Savello (San Francisco), Christopher Michael Schwab (Woodside, Calif.), Yevgeniy Andreyevich Kozlenko (New Fairfield, Conn.) and Patrick Allen Lowe (Palo Alto, Calif.).
