ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,595,761, issued on April 7, was assigned to Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG (Munich).

"Generating electrical energy from hydrogen and oxygen" was invented by Uwe Juretzek (Erlangen, Germany) and Carsten Graeber (Erlangen, Germany).
