ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,708,596, issued on Aug. 18, was assigned to SHISEIDO COMPANY LTD. (Tokyo).
"Cosmetic cleansing composition" was invented by Binhua Yang (East Windsor, N.J.) and Maria Barsom (East Windsor, N.J.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is a cosmetic composition that includes: (a) at least one surfactant, which includes at least one anionic surfactant; and (b) a fatty acid thickener. The cosmetic composition may be transparent and sulfate free."
The patent was filed on Nov. 29, 2023, under Application No. 18/522,783.
