According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides a press-fit terminal comprising a main body part having a rod shape; and a pressure contact part extending along the main body part in a cantilever manner from a tip of the main body part while being spaced apart from the main body part, wherein the main body part includes an engagement portion with which a free end portion of the pressure contact part is engageable."
