US Patent Issued to Shaw Industries on March 24 for "Multilayer hybrid magnesium oxide products and methods thereof" (Georgia, Tennessee Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,583,205, issued on March 24, was assigned to Shaw Industries Inc. (Dalton, Ga.).

"Multilayer hybrid magnesium oxide products and methods thereof" was invented by Anthony Drevet (Ringgold, Ga.) and Christopher K. Andrews (Signal Mountain, Tenn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A magnesium oxide based product formed through a hybrid core. The hybrid core includes a dry layer made from a dry MgO composition and a wet layer from a wet MgO composition. The product can further be joined to an additional top layer to the hybrid core, including a laminate."
