ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,710,795, issued on Aug. 18, was assigned to Sharp Display Technology Corp. (Kameyama City, Japan).
"Foldable display" was invented by Yasuyuki Togashi (Kameyama City, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "In a foldable display, a third portion, in a side view thereof, includes a first arc portion, a first line segment portion, and a second line segment portion in a first posture, and includes a second arc portion in a second posture."
The patent was filed on July 12, 2022, under Application No. 18/867,428.
