ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,581,794, issued on March 17, was assigned to Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Co. Ltd. (Atsugi, Japan).

"Light-emitting element" was invented by Satoshi Seo (Sagamihara, Japan), Satoko Shitagaki (Isehara, Japan), Nobuharu Ohsawa (Zama, Japan), Hideko Inoue (Atsugi, Japan) and Kunihiko Suzuki (Isehara, Japan).
