ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,710,787, issued on Aug. 18, was assigned to Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Co. Ltd. (Atsugi, Japan).
"Display device and electronic device" was invented by Shunpei Yamazaki (Setagaya, Japan) and Yoshiharu Hirakata (Ebina, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A display device includes a display panel mounted on a curved surface, and driver circuits including circuit elements which are mounted on a plurality of plane surfaces provided on the back of the curved surface in a stepwise shape along the curved surface."
