ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,663,633, issued on June 23, was assigned to SeeScan Inc. (San Diego).
"Dockable camera reel and camera control unit (CCU) system" was invented by Mark S. Olsson (La Jolla, Calif.), Michael J. Martin (San Diego), Alexander L. Warren (Escondido, Calif.), Garrett A. Newby (San Diego) and Gina M. Hartman (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Video inspection systems with moveably dockable camera control units (CCUs) which may include a display are disclosed."
