ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,644,819, issued on June 2, was assigned to SCINTILLON INSTITUTE FOR BIOMEDICAL AND BIOENERGY RESEARCH (San Diego).

"Excitation-emission matrix flow cytometry systems and uses thereof" was invented by John P. Nolan (La Jolla, Calif.) and Danilo Condello (New York).
