ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,653,247, issued on June 16, was assigned to Sarah Gene Marshall (Williams Bay, Wis.).

"Wearable blanket and method of using the same" was invented by Sarah Gene Marshall (Williams Bay, Wis.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A wearable blanket assembly that includes a piece of fabric attached to a body suit and a method of wrapping an infant in the wearable blanket assembly. In particular, a customizable wearable blanket assembly and method of using the same."
