ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,589,208, issued on March 31, was assigned to Sanofi Winthrop Industrie (Gentilly, France).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of lubricating a surface of a tubular element for a medicament delivery device includes the steps of moving a device relative to the tubular element for a medicament delivery device, contacting the tubular element with a brush portion of the device, and depositing lubricant agent on the surface of the tubular element to lubricate a surface of the tubular element."
