US Patent Issued to Sandisk Technologies on May 12 for "NVMe completion and interrupt" (Israeli Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,625,828, issued on May 12, was assigned to Sandisk Technologies Inc. (Milpitas, Calif.).

"NVMe completion and interrupt" was invented by Amir Segev (Meiter, Israel) and Shay Benisty (Beer Sheva, Israel).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Instead of having uncertainty when waiting on completions, utilize unordered input output memory write (UIOMWr) to ensure the completions of the write. Using UIOMWr, the data storage device will write the competitions to a host dynamic random access memory (DRAM).
