ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,560,834, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to Samsung Display Co. Ltd. (Yongin-si, South Korea).
"Flexible display device" was invented by Jun Namkung (Asan-si, South Korea), Soonryong Park (Sejong, South Korea) and Chulwoo Jeong (Hwaseong-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A flexible display device includes a flexible display panel and a first outer member having a groove pattern. The groove pattern includes a flat surface and inclined portions connected to the flat surface and symmetrical with each other."
