ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,701,848, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to Samsung Display Co. Ltd. (Yongin-si, South Korea).
"Display device" was invented by Seung Jin Chu (Yongin-si, South Korea) and Dong Woo Kim (Yongin-si, South Korea).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A display device includes a lower electrode, middle electrodes above the lower electrode, and spaced apart from each other, upper electrodes above the middle electrodes, and spaced apart from each other, light emitting elements between the upper electrodes, and connection electrodes above the light emitting elements, and electrically connected to the light emitting elements."
