US Patent Issued to Saipem on Aug. 25 for "Power generation process utilizing fuel, liquid air and/or oxygen with zero CO 2 emissions" (Italian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,716,650, issued on Aug. 25, was assigned to Saipem S.P.A. (Milan).

"Power generation process utilizing fuel, liquid air and/or oxygen with zero CO 2 emissions" was invented by Matteo Berra (Milan) and Lorenzo Bruno (Milan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A system which integrates a power production system and an energy storage system represented by gas liquefaction systems is provided."
