ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,560,133, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to SAFRAN AIRCRAFT ENGINES (Paris) and GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY (Schenectady, N.Y.).
"Multiple-flow aircraft turbine engine" was invented by Guillaume Glemarec (Moissy-Cramayel, France), Valentin Sebastien Simon Avoyne (Moissy-Cramayel, France), Helene Monique Orsi (Moissy-Cramayel, France) and Mathieu Marc Christian Gaillot (Moissy-Cramayel, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A multi-flow turbine engine for an aircraft, the turbine engine having a gas generator with geometrical characteristics allowing it to have at its periphery a cold compartment larger than its hot compartment."
