US Patent Issued to Safeworks on June 30 for "Climb assist velocity control" (Montana Inventor)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,669,017, issued on June 30, was assigned to Safeworks LLC (Tukwila, Wash.).

"Climb assist velocity control" was invented by Morgan Knickrehm (Kalispell, Mont.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A climb assist system dynamically adjusts a rate and a level of load assist that the system provides to a climber during traverse of a structure.
