US Patent Issued to Rubrik on June 23 for "Coordinated backup of failover databases across multiple datacenters" (American, Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,664,054, issued on June 23, was assigned to Rubrik Inc. (Palo Alto, Calif.).

"Coordinated backup of failover databases across multiple datacenters" was invented by Benjamin Joonsu Park (San Jose, Calif.), Deepti Kochar (San Mateo, Calif.), Lin Huang (Morgan Hill, Calif.), Andrew Cristopher Keirn (San Diego) and Arvind Swaminathan (Chennai, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Methods, systems, and devices for data management are described. Techniques described herein may enable a database management system (DMS) to link databases of a failover group that spans multiple data centers across different clusters for the different datacenters....
