US Patent Issued to RTX on Sept. 29 for "Environmental barrier coating" (Connecticut Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,747,192, issued on Sept. 29, was assigned to RTX Corp. (Farmington, Conn.).

"Environmental barrier coating" was invented by Zhongfen Ding (South Windsor, Conn.), Xia Tang (West Hartford, Conn.), Michael R. Kracum (Manchester, Conn.), Richard Wesley Jackson (Groton, Conn.) and James T. Beals (West Hartford, Conn.).
