ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,580,564, issued on March 17, was assigned to Rohm Co. Ltd. (Kyoto, Japan).
"Reverse conduction loss reduction circuit, semiconductor device, and switching power supply" was invented by Takumi Fujimaki (Kyoto, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A reverse conduction loss reduction circuit operates, when an enhancement-mode switching element having reverse conduction characteristics corresponding to a gate-source voltage is reverse-conducting, to raise the gate-source voltage of the switching element to a predetermined bias voltage."
