US Patent Issued to Robots and Donuts on July 21 for "Hair styling apparatus" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,375, issued on July 21, was assigned to Robots and Donuts (Carson, Calif.).

"Hair styling apparatus" was invented by David Richmond (Carson, Calif.), Jeffrey Kunkler (Carson, Calif.) and Donald Craig Priess (Carson, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hairstyling brush is provided. The hairstyling brush includes a handle, a brush head joined to the handle, the brush head comprising a spiral cantilever beam originating from a peripheral edge of the brush head and spiraling inward to a central position, and a vibration motor and counterweight arrangement proximate the central position."
