ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,679,805, issued on July 14, was assigned to RIKEN (Saitama, Japan).
"Bioactive substance exhibiting antimalarial activity, and use for same" was invented by Hiroyuki Osada (Saitama, Japan), Takayuki Motoyama (Saitama, Japan), Islam Adel Abdelhakim (Assiut, Egypt) and Yushi Futamura (Saitama, Japan).
