ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,643, issued on April 14, was assigned to Resonac Corp. (Tokyo).
"Powder for additive manufacturing" was invented by Yusuke Yamada (Tokyo), Hiroshi Tsuzuki (Tokyo) and Hiroki Sugimoto (Tokyo).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A powder for additive manufacturing which is an inorganic oxide powder, wherein D10 is 1.0 to 4.0 micro metre, D50 is 5.5 to 9.0 micro metre, D90 is 20.0 to 40.0 micro metre, and the volume ratio of particles having a particle size of 16.8 to 60.0 micro metre is 15.0 to 22.0 vol %."
The patent was filed on Dec. 20, 2023, under Application No. 18/866,272.
