According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrosurgical device for treating tissue have a sharp forming a distal end thereof. The electrosurgical device can include two or more electrodes spaced from the sharp that can each reciprocate. Other arrangements for the two or more electrodes such as those that do not reciprocate but are held stator relative to the sharp are contemplated."
