ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,769,128, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to Red Six Aerospace Inc. (Orlando, Fla.).
"System and method for holographic laser backlight" was invented by Glenn Pagano (Los Angeles), David Ryan Bonelli (Hayward, Calif.) and Glenn Thomas Snyder (Venice, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the present inventions relate to back lighting systems for computer displays. Embodiments involve using a laser, expanded and holographic surfaces to generate a plane of light configured to illuminate an LCD display."
