ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,606,567, issued on April 21, was assigned to Recurium IP Holdings LLC (San Diego).
"Salts and forms of a WEE1 inhibitor" was invented by Chad Daniel Hopkins (San Diego), Peter Qinhua Huang (San Diego) and Kevin Duane Bunker (Escondido, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The salt, such as adipate salt Form A, and freebase forms of Compound A are WEE1 inhibitors. Such salts and/or forms and freebase forms, as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts and compositions thereof, are useful for treating diseases or conditions, including conditions characterized by excessive cellular proliferation, such as breast cancer."
