ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,585,094, issued on March 24, was assigned to RealD Spark LLC (Boulder, Colo.).

"Anamorphic directional illumination device" was invented by Graham J. Woodgate (Henley-on-Thames, Great Britain), Michael G. Robinson (Boulder, Colo.) and Jonathan Harrold (Leamington Spa, Great Britain).
