ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,687,146, issued on July 21, was assigned to RCAM Technologies Inc. (Boulder, Colo.).

"Converting wave motion into electrical energy" was invented by Jason Rust Cotrell (Boulder, Colo.), Eduardo Rangel (Boulder, Colo.) and Mason James Bell (Long Beach, Calif.).
