US Patent Issued to Rambus on Oct. 20 for "DRAM metadata access" (California, Vermont Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,769,643, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to Rambus Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"DRAM metadata access" was invented by John Eric Linstadt (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Thomas Vogelsang (Jericho, Vt.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A memory device includes functionality (e.g., mode, command, etc.) to concurrently activate/access a plurality of rows across a corresponding plurality of memory banks.
