ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,592,272, issued on March 31, was assigned to Rambus Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
"Memory device having non-uniform refresh" was invented by Thomas Vogelsang (Jericho, Vt.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An integrated circuit memory device is disclosed. The memory device includes an array of storage cells configured into multiple banks. Each bank includes multiple segments. Register storage stores per-segment values representing per-segment refresh parameters. Refresh logic refreshes each segment in accordance with the corresponding per-segment value."
The patent was filed on June 11, 2024, under Application No. 18/740,400.
