US Patent Issued to Rambus on June 9 for "Row hammer mitigation" (California, North Carolina Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,651,625, issued on June 9, was assigned to Rambus Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Row hammer mitigation" was invented by Steven C. Woo (Saratoga, Calif.) and Michael Raymond Miller (Raleigh, N.C.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Row hammer is mitigated by issuing, to a memory device, mitigation operation (MOP) commands in order to cause the refresh of rows at a specified vicinity of a suspected aggressor row.
