ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,669,945, issued on June 30, was assigned to Rambus Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Maintenance operations in a DRAM" was invented by Frederick A. Ware (Los Altos Hills, Calif.), Robert E. Palmer (Chapel Hill, N.C.) and John W. Poulton (Chapel Hill, N.C.).
