US Patent Issued to QUALCOMM on March 31 for "Network slicing enhancement" (Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,592,857, issued on March 31, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to network slicing enhancements with randomly generated application identifiers. For example, by handling requests of an application, a user equipment (UE) may be able to forward such requests to a network entity to receive an encoded random number token corresponding to the application to provide for improved indexing of applications on the UE."
