US Patent Issued to QUALCOMM on June 30 for "System and method of applying dynamic resolution" (Indian, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,670,544, issued on June 30, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).

"System and method of applying dynamic resolution" was invented by Pankaj Chanchlani (Ajmer, India), Suresh Agarwal (Bangalore, India) and Mohammed Ataur Rahman Shuman (San Diego).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An apparatus, including: a screen generator configured to generate a screen in response to an application; a resolution selector configured to select a resolution for rendering the screen based on a set of parameters associated with the screen; and a graphics processing unit (GPU) configured to render the screen based on the selected resolution on a display."
