US Patent Issued to QUALCOMM on Aug. 4 for "User equipment capability number defined in machine learning limit" (Chinese, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,701,405, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to QUALCOMM Inc. (San Diego).

"User equipment capability number defined in machine learning limit" was invented by Yuwei Ren (Beijing), June Namgoong (San Diego) and Huilin Xu (Temecula, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE), comprising generating a message that includes a first parameter indicating a capability of the UE to support machine learning (ML) functions across a group of cells and transmitting the message to a network entity."
