ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,744,814, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to QOMPLX LLC (Reston, Va.).

"Pathfinding in two and three-dimensional spaces using an automated planning service" was invented by Jason Crabtree (Vienna, Va.), Andrew Sellers (Monument, Colo.) and Hao Pan (Reston, Va.).
