US Patent Issued to POSCO on Oct. 20 for "High-yield-ratio ultra-high-strength steel sheet having excellent thermal stability, and manufacturing method therefor" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,768,002, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to POSCO Co. LTD (Pohang-si, South Korea).

"High-yield-ratio ultra-high-strength steel sheet having excellent thermal stability, and manufacturing method therefor" was invented by Chan-Woo Bang (Gwangyang-si, South Korea), Sung-Il Kim (Gwangyang-si, South Korea) and Hyun-Taek Na (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided is an ultra-high-strength steel sheet having excellent thermal stability and a high yield ratio, and ultra-high strength even after heat treatment at a relatively low temperature, and a manufacturing method therefor.
