ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,638,712, issued on May 26, was assigned to POSCO Holdings Inc. (Seoul, South Korea), Research Institute of Industrial Science & Technology (Pohang-si, South Korea) and POSTECH Research and Business Development Foundation (Pohang-si, South Korea).

"Multi-focusing meta lens" was invented by Jun Suk Rho (Pohang-si, South Korea), Ye Seul Kim (Pohang-si, South Korea) and Joo Hoon Kim (Pohang-si, South Korea).
