ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,388, issued on July 21, was assigned to Pongo World Pty Ltd (Preston, Australia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to a table for playing games. The table may include at least one panel of aluminum composite material to form a playing surface with a frame member to support it. The frame member may extend around the perimeter of the playing surface to brace the aluminum composite panel. A first panel of the aluminum composite material may be treated with a tactile coating to form a layer over its' surface to increase its' friction coefficient."
