ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 27 -- United States Patent no. 12,773,059, issued on Oct. 27, was assigned to Polygroup Macau Ltd. (BVI) (Road Town, British Virgin Islands).

"Connector system" was invented by Yong Fu (Zhu Yang Town, China) and Chung-Wai (Paul) Cheng (Hong Kong).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A connector system facilitates the connection of a first tree trunk to a second tree trunk of an artificial tree system. The connector system can prohibit rotation of the first tree trunk relative to the second tree trunk."
