US Patent Issued to Pixie on June 23 for "Individually packaged absorbent article" (New York Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,661,281, issued on June 23, was assigned to Pixie Inc. (New York).

"Individually packaged absorbent article" was invented by Fiona Simmonds (New York) and Sana Clegg (New York).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An individually packaged absorbent article, comprising a wrapper material configured into a bag and comprising a drawstring, and a single absorbent article removably positioned within the wrapper material; a hygiene kit comprising the individually packaged absorbent article; and a method of discarding an absorbent article."

The patent was filed on June 22, 2022, under Application No. 18/569,049.
