According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A force sensor includes two sheets facing each other, two electrode layers respectively installed on inner sides of the two sheets an insulating elastomer sandwiched between the two electrode layers, a bumper disposed on one of the two sheets, and a bonding layer that connects the two sheets and that is arranged outside of the insulating elastomer.
