US Patent Issued to Petfive Brands Holding on Oct. 20 for "Absorbent biogenic litter mixture composition" (Brazilian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,768,834, issued on Oct. 20, was assigned to Petfive Brands Holding LLC (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.).

"Absorbent biogenic litter mixture composition" was invented by Pedro Eduardo Stevens Bastos (Sao Paulo), Gustavo Tallia Loducca (Sao Paulo) and Isadora Duarte Sabater (Sao Paulo).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An absorbent biogenic composition includes a mixture of a base material, a plant-based oil, and a plant-based pH indicator."

The patent was filed on Aug. 8, 2025, under Application No. 19/294,892.
